Visit Lowry Park Zoo for $5 This Sunday
Visit 1,500 animals on nearly 60 acres of natural habitats, let the kids splash in water play areas, and encounter exciting wildlife.
Meerkats, which can be observed at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo, inhabit the savannas of the southern portion of Africa. They stand tall most of the time because they act as lookouts for predators.

Folks can visit the Lowry Park Zoo for $5 on Sunday, May 20. The $5 admission day is for ages 3 and up, from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and it does not include admission to zoo rides.
Parking at the Zoo is free, while spaces last. Offsite parking is available on $5 day only next to the Tampa Greyhound Track. Free shuttles will run continuously from that lot to the Zoo between 9 a.m.-6 p.m. From I-275, take Exit 49 to Bird Street and go one block East. Park in indicated areas.
