GOP Presidential Candidates Coming to Tampa Bay
A look at the Republican candidates' visits around the Tampa Bay area leading up to the Jan. 31 Florida Presidential Preference Primary, plus other key political events.
MONDAY, JAN. 30
- Newt Gingrich will attend a rally in Tampa with former GOP candidate Herman Cain and Michael Reagan, son of President Ronald Reagan and a former radio host. The event is at Tampa Jet Center, 4751 Jim Walter Blvd. Doors open at 1 p.m.
- Mitt Romney may be coming to Dunedin.The Romney campaign has rented space at Pioneer Park for a possible 2 p.m. campaign stop, according to the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce. There was no official confirmation from the Romney camp late Friday evening.
TUESDAY, JAN. 31
- Florida Presidential Preference Primary.
- The Greater Brandon Republican Club will host a Florida Presidential Preference Primary Election Night party at O'Brien's Irish Pub & Grill, 701 W. Lumsden Rd. in Brandon. Dinner starts at 6 p.m.
