This free festival provides fun for the whole family with various storytelling tents, an open mic, roving storybook characters, a book fair, arts and crafts, and food trucks. There will even be classroom sessions where kids get the chance to tell stories.
Featured guest storyteller Elizabeth Ellis will share her talents at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Ellis was selected as the "Listener’s Choice" at the 30th Anniversary National Storytelling Festival, and is a storyteller-in-residence at the International Storytelling Center. She is a recipient of the "Circle of Excellence Award" from the National Storytelling Network.
