All U.S. Post Offices will be closed Saturday, Jan. 1. Express Mail only will be delivered on New Year's Day in most major metropolitan areas. Most retail lobbies at Post Offices in the Suncoast District will be open New Year's Eve, Friday, Dec. 31. But many will shorten their hours, closing at noon.

Customers may call 800-ASK-USPS for hours of operation at specific Post Offices. Mail delivery Dec. 31 is not affected by the change in hours. Commercial customers should check with their Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit for holiday hours of operation.
